The Administrator of the following plans is Simply Financial Services Inc. At its sole option, may elect to repair, rebuild, or replace the defective device in whole or in part, to restore normal functions. It may also use genuine Apple parts, refurbished parts, or third-party parts equivalent to new in performance and reliability to repair or rebuild the defective device.
Accidental Damage from Handling
The Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) Coverage Plan provides parts and labour warranty coverage for the Mac, iPad, iPhone or Watch after damage has occurred due to mishandling.
Each device is eligible for two (2) service events during the duration of the plan, the first ADH event is subject to a service fee of $129.99 for a Mac, $49.99 for an iPad, $129.99 for an iPhone, or $89.99 for an Apple Watch plus applicable tax. The second ADH event is subject to a service fee of $259.99 for a Mac, or $49.99 for an iPad, $129.99 for an iPhone, or $89.99 plus applicable tax. A “service event” is defined as an occasion when the device is brought into a Simply Computing location for ADH servicing.
ADH coverage only applies to an operational or mechanical failure caused by an accident from handling that is the result of an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. drops and liquid contact) that arises from your normal daily usage of the device as intended for such device. ADH coverage does not include protection against normal wear and tear nor reckless conduct associated with handling and use of the device.
The Extended Warranty Plan provides extended parts and labour warranty coverage for the Mac or iPad, and a monitor when purchased on the same invoice as the Mac. It commences immediately following the expiry of the Apple one-year limited warranty, and terminates at the end of the term specified on the original sales invoice.
This plan does not include software support, telephone support, and coverage for other products.
No Lemon Guarantee
If the device had three previous repairs to a major component (eg. logic board), and requires a fourth covered major repair, we’ll choose to provide a replacement device that is equal or better, or issue a credit for the current replacement value. If the device was purchased new within 90 days of the fourth service claim, a new device that is equal or better will be provided as a replacement.
